I'll keep bumping this as long as I can stay awake tonight.
Any chance this can get sent to the Sunday talkshows?
Are they really that stuck on stupid?!!!!
Are these NEA types THAT ignorant!!!
IF THIS WAS ANY OTHER ISSUE THE NEA JACKBOOTS WOULD BE DEMANDING TOLLERANCE.
These NEA types are essentially urinating upon the principle of assimilation and national pride for the USA.
The board that supports this should immediatly be fired.
How about this then -- no U. S. flag = no U. S. dollars for any students at all.
This makes me mad! Do we have a # to FReep?
I live in Longmont and I am outraged that this principal has banned the American flag from being displayed. What hasn't been reported is how proud Americans in this town have had to witness the Mexican flag being flown from car windows up and down Main Street ALL week. So, the American students decided to show their pride for America, and the principal has to resort to banning the American flag!?! I don't think so.

Sounds like communism to me and better be stopped in quick order.
May we assume that the Pledge of Allegiance is not being said in this school? After all, it might be an occasion for some students to pledge earnestly and loudly, and this principal seems to consider that sort of thing inappropriate!
Thinking back to the sixties here, can anyone imagine a child suspended from school for honoring the flag, and finally being escorted back into school by federal marshals? Past a gauntlet of angry illegals? Is that where we're going? Are there now areas of the US where the American flag is now considered hate speech, and local officials can ban it?
Call me cynical but ... anyone notice the dateline on this story?
How mandy teachers are supporting the students with American flag lapel pins and so forth? If I were there I would.
Here's my effort:
Dear Mr. Stumpf:
It may come as a surprise to you, but there are people in the United States who actually love and cherish this country. They believe that the American Flag is a great symbol of the values of our precious freedoms, including freedom of speech. At the heart of America's history as a beacon of hope to the world, lies the fact that we maintain a sovereign nation within distinct borders and that within those borders, her citizens are protected by the rule of law.
Now you and others have come along to spit on this heritage and to undermine the freedom, the liberty and the hope that the American flag has stood for at schoolhouses, at courthouses and on battlefields since the founding of the Republic. You exhibit disdain for the many who shed their blood under that flag for all it represents. I looked everywhere in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and our other founding documents, and I couldn't find a word about multiculturalism or any other post-modern stupidities suggesting that we should do away with our flag, our liberty or our sovereignty as a nation in the face of a wave of illegal invaders (yes, I said illegal).
You have no place teaching the young people of this nation. Your ideas are quite literally subversive to the United States of America. You should resign immediately. Failing that, if there is any common sense and true patriotism left in your school district, you should be fired immediately.
Good day, Sir.
what did you expect?
Stumpf's resume from the school website includes this nugget before his time in CO:
"20 additional prior years in education in Wisconsin"
As I understand it, they might as well have said "20 additional prior years in Institute for Proletarian Reeducation in Leningrad"
This doesn't make sense.....
the poll seems stuck on an 88/12 ratio.....plus- if below is true, that means that over 20,000 people think this was a good idea....I'd like to know if those folks are actually IN America- and if so.....they don't need to be..
Did the school make the right decision in banning the U.S. flag?
No 88%
Yes 12%

Note on Poll Results
"Comrade, go to the Local High School and talk to comrade teachers there. Give them a Lenin Award. And also, help the teachers put down those rebellious American students. They are American dogs."
"Si Sinora Bella"
