If he can't take care of his own kid, he's unfit to take care of everyone elses. That reminds me of a bumper sticker: "If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child." The logic makes about as much sense.

Doesn't matter. Because Republicans don't matter. We've seen what they do, once given the chance. Same old crap. Nice of ya to put yourself

You have odd priorities in a candidate. "Man, that guy put his kid up for adoption, I'd better vote for the open-borders guy instead." I have no respect for a married man who gives his child away, then expects me to entrust him with the highest office in the land.
Call me weird, but I wouldn't hire the guy to mow my lawn.

Kyl was both great in committee on Monday and on the Senate floor the last couple days. He SOOOO was!!! I heard him speak about immigration at a fundraiser here recently, but it sure was good to see him in action, taking on the Drunken One on Monday. LOL. Teddy turning purple...

All the time; I get my hair cut by a nice Filipino lady there. She's legal; it was a big pain for her to get here. Yeah. I used to grab some dinuguan when I was in the area.

Good post. If that is the way it goes down, the immigration issue should take care of itself. The devil is in the specifics.
BUSH QUOTES:
"Comprehensive immigration reform begins with securing our borders."
"To keep the promise of America, we must enforce the laws of America."
"One thing the temporary worker program would not do is provide amnesty to those who are in our country illegally."
ALL,if you have not read Tonks post. please do.

I would be willing to consider any proposal, if we would just shut down the incredible flow. I think that most agree with you. Very few envision any sort of roundup of illegals. The course of action should be to physically close the border (the supply) and then implement severe crack downs with prison time for employers of illegals (the demand). Cutting off of social services should also be implemented as it would also cut off the demand.
I don't have a problem with guest workers, per se, as long as only the worker can come (no children or non-working spouses) and there is a tariff placed on the exported good - in this case labor.

I thought illegals only did jobs us (i.e.lazy, no-account Americans) wouldn't do. You mean the 11 million illegal aliens aren't all picking lettuce or washing cars?
First they came for the gardening jobs
and I did not speak out
because I was not a gardener.
Then they came for the construction jobs
and I did not speak out
because I was not in construction.
Then they came for the computer jobs
and I did not speak out
because I was not a computer programmer.
Then they came for my job
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

Was he merely hinting that Minutemen are vigilantes rather than saying it explicitly? Was Bush talking about the Minutemen, and then just coincidentally went off on an unrelated tangent about vigilantes? That would have to be quite a stretch for a reporter to say that Bush used that term if he didn't.You pretty much have it summed up. He wasn't talking about Charles Bronson in "Deathwish".

How do you feel about Republicans pushing The DUcks, KOS kool-aid kids, and just liberal pukes in general, back to where they belong?

I think Boxer and Fienswine will be my Senators until they die.No way either one of them ever loses unless a cute asian or hispanic woman that is a fiscal conservative and socially libertarian runs against them.
