My first inclination is to say whoever initiated this study has too much time on their hands. On the other hand, they do seven million studies on everything else under the sun, so, in a way, why not?
I do think publishing this result does more harm than good. "Knowledge" isn't positive knowledge given the inevitable gross misinterpretations by hypersecular enthusiasts.
