I know there are some high-profile radio talk show types with FReeper names; does anybody know how to ping them to that link?

You would be surprised how many here in Californian could be described as red necks. They tend to be scattered up in the foothills and more rural areas. I consider most to be salt of the earth types, and to not be afraid to do the right thing in an emergency.

Yes, exactly right. This coming civil war will be the true price of "dirt cheap illegal alien labor."

Well, Tony Snow is a bigtime radio host, but sadly, he has deluded himself into belieiving that if we appease the invaders with the Senate's 6 year guest worker amnesty citizenship plan, they will all assimilate into model Americans and vote Republican.

Snow regularly insults the Republican base, saying "Come on, what are you afraid of?" to anyone who brings up the danger in our midst. When the RINOs are swept out of office in 2006 because of this, Snow will be partly to blame. He's done all he can to crap on the heads of patriotic conservative Republicans.

But I guess I should not be surprised. Tony Snow is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, which is supports the abolition of the borders between the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Tony, in case you "missed" this story, that is an American High School, this week.

Good afternoon.
"It's California they want!"

They want what they can take from the US. They just happen to believe, foolishly, that they CAN take California, but they are eying the entire nation.

They are welcome to try to tear up LA. They will be stopped and sent back to Mexico. You must forget that we have ample military bases in the area. Anyway, you are saying that the USA would give these aholes the city of angels? I am wondering why you stand in awe of such weakness? Do you wish the USA would go away? Answer to your question...how many enemy fighters are left in Fallujah: none. I don't need to waste my time arguing with someone who thinks 500,000 civilians could take over a city, and we would let them keep them. The California National guard would stop any such aggression. Enough of you silliness. Begone...

Could you make your post it's own thread? SoCal needs to hear this loud and clear. Thanks.

You are delusional if you think that 500,000 people can't shut down a city, or that we can just sweep them out because "we have ample military base in the area."

Will we use tanks and bombers to retake LA? Are you aware that California's major refineries and America's biggest port (Long Beach and LA together) are both in the middle of what will be insurgent-held territory?

Do you think we will be willing to turn our military loose on LA like we did on Fallujah?

Good afternoon.
"Californians rallying to the defense!"

That should be Californians rallying to the defense of the nation.

As we go so does the rest of the US. We should try to convince our government of that fact and vote out or recall legislators who don't get it.

I've been posting the bit about "Mayor MEChA" all over the place for months, it's not new enough to warrant a new thread, I don't think.

Absolutely!
Our system of government can withstand many things, but treason in high places will kill US.
I live just outside of Mobile, AL. If you buy a potted plant from Lowes, Home Depot, or Wally-world, chances are it came from here. We are buried with illegal aliens ourselves. You are correct, they want the whole thing.
However, even if all they wanted was California, I want to be clear, that is part of MY country and they can't have it.
My comments were a poor attempt at humor and I ask your forgiveness for insulting your State.

Cordially, GE

As a SoCal resident, I can see the humor. Interestingly, most of CA is quite conservative. The blue areas are LA, SF-bay area and Sacramento. Don't ask me why we still have such lying, scheming liberals in our state government. Those of us who live in the other areas of the state are mad as hell over these demonstrations.
