LOL, if there were thousands, natch - millions of raw docs which stated George Bush was tied to 9-11, I'd consider it. And I don't mean moveon.org flyers, loser!
But guess what - there isn't!! Ha ha!! But there are, and its all coming out baby! There may not be a smoking gun, but it'll be an avalanche with the mountain of evidence! ANd it all matches up with what was being reported for at least a decade!!
And your head is exploding. Ha ha!

But guess what - there isn't!! Ha ha!! But there are implicating Hussein and al-Qaida being cozy, and its all coming out baby!

That's big of Kerrey, but the fact is we'd been at war with Iraq from the first time Iraq violated the cease fire agreement they signed.BRAVO!!!!

Really? Posting something that disagress with your set-in-stone conclusions qualifies me as a troll? So much for free speech and reasoned debate. Your reply is the equivalent of a child sticking his fingers in his ears and screaming. Next you're going to congratulate the genius whose contribution was to post a cartoon about liberal whiners. Speaking of whiners, isn't that you guys always whining about the "liberal press"? Always whining that your taxes are too high? Always whining people you don't approve of want to get married? Always whining that lawyers want to hold inept and negligent companies accountable? Always whining, period?Nah, your whiney condenscending tone qualifies you as a troll. Gads, my 4 y.o. is less whiny!
Well, that and your smell.

"It shows he was willing to collaborate. It doesn't come close to linking him to 9/11," said Kerrey, now president of New School University in New York City. Precisely the same could be said of Adolf Hitler with respect to Pearl Harbor. Would Kerry say he was no threat to us?

[Also, a poll of US troops revealed that a vast majority of US troops there believe that they are there because Saddam was involved with 9-11. Where'd they get that idea? Um, how about the same misinformation campaign that had 70% of Americans believing Saddam was involved in 9-11?] BS
what??? you don't have 100% faith in polls??? lol we should do a poll on that...

And Saddam had been at war with the USA since March 17th, 1987. ( USS Stark )

It doesn't come close to linking him to 9/11," said Kerrey
It doesn't have to.

It doesn't come close to linking him to 9/11," said Kerrey Kerrey still defending his seat on the 911 commission of omission.

Why doesn't anyone ever publish a simple analysis of the justification for war (see http://hnn.us/articles/1282.html for the original resolution)? There are 23 "Whereas" paragraphs that establish the need for the invasion. Of those 23, 7 refer to old Congressional resolutions, 3 refer to UN resolutions (including the original 1991 version & the cease-fire violations), 4 refer to general hostility to the US, 2 refer to UNDISPUTED facts about Iraq's cooperation with terrorist organizations, 3 refer to UNDISPUTED facts about Iraq's WMD use/programs, and ONLY ONE refers to probably wrong assessment of Iraq's then-current WMD program or cooperation with AQ. that's my 5 minute assessment - anyone else have a more thorough take on the resolution worth publishing?

"But he said they suggest that "Saddam Hussein saw himself as an enemy of the United States of America" after the 1991 Persian Gulf War, which forced Iraq out of Kuwait."
So 'ol Bob didn't know Saddam was an enemy of the US after '91?

Welcome to FR.
Good catch on that.
To: IBfree
Surely, this statement must be a misquote. Either that or Kerrey is really stupid. Of course Saddam considered himself an enemy of the US after '91. His "elite" republican guard were driven out of Kuwait in a matter of days.
I just cannot imagine anyone saying anything so stupid, but maybe Kerrey did say something this stupid.
