It's not so much the jobs Americans are unwilling to do, it's the wages offered for those jobs Americans are unwilling to work for, either because the Americans can't (paying below minimum wage and/or under the counter) or because the Americans have a better offer (living on gov't handouts, easier jobs, more money, etc.).

Those who spout such platitudes really mean, illegals are only doing the jobs I WOULD NOT BE WILLING TO DO.
