Well, at least folks will no longer hold Brownback up as a conservative ideal. :-)

The fact he is "socially conservative" tends to make people think otherwise. I tend to doubt him on even that given who his biggest boosters are in Kansas....it would be suicidal to be anything but be a social conservative and continue to get their support. But he goes to extremes in that arena from time to time, like blocking a nominee of the administration to a position because they are pro-choice. Even if the position doesn't concern in any way, shape or form abortion or even the debate of abortion.

Sessions is a conservative. A rare one in the Senate. Kyl is a good guy, Coburn I've been developing a fair amount of respect for....during his campaign he sounded a bit too much like Alan Keyes but he's been redeeming himself since.

Brownback is no different then Lindsey Graham.

I love Sessions...he is my favorite..but Coburn is a good guy as well.

Kyl and Cornyn are good too...but, they are trying to get their amendment passed...so they are probably compromising more than I like.

Graham is a loser, DeWine is a loser, and now I will add Brownback..
