As a supporter of the President and his efforts in the WOT, I spend (waste)a fair amount of time debating liberals. Their last gasp is always the standard question, “Well then, why hasn’t Bush caught Osama yet”?
My standard tongue-in-cheek response is, “Why don’t you ask your hero, President Clinton? Sudan offered him Osama three times—only to be turned down by Clinton—who stated that Osama had not committed any crime against the US. Osama was then sent to Afghanistan –where he made the mess that President Bush was left to clean up”! Of course, liberals deny that this really happened.
My question is this. Why has the MSM (or otherwise) NOT done a TV documentary on EXACTLY what happened with this alleged offer?
Why has no one (MSM, FOX, Nightline, 60 Minutes, 20/20, John Stossel. Geraldo, Ollie North, History Channel, A&E,,,WHATEVER) done an hour special on this topic with interviews and statements from all the players to include: President Clinton, VP Gore, Sandy Berger (and others from the NSC), Madeleine Albright (and others from the State Dept), SECDEF, CIA, FBI, and any ambassadors/officials/intermediaries to or from Sudan who may have been involved.
If the offer actually did occur, why has no one done a complete, thorough and exhaustive story on it? A background history (starting with Osama’s involvement in the WTC 1993) with timeline/chronology of events and interviews/statements and opinions from as many players as possible would be a great way to educate (and remind everyone) of what happened. It would remove a lot of disinformation out there, AND, help highlight and remind the American public about the national security situation that was ignored during the Clinton years--and inherited by President Bush.
Why not do a complete story about it now, before Hillary and Bill once again do their particular REWRITING OF HISTORY—which we all know will happen (and has already happened to some extent) before she enters the Presidential race. It would also help remind the American public of the REAL Clinton LEGACY—which President Bush is doing his best to clean up right now.
Again, why has NO ONE in the media done a MAJOR research project/TV story on this topic?
Cause the m.s.m. wants another clinton presidency. After all unlike President Bush, the clintons think the m.s.m. is relevant.

For the reasons you outline, it seems to me that our country becomes more Orwellian with each passing day. The old media is little more than the Democrat's Ministry of Truth, where lies become truth, and truth becomes a lie.
Since the Clintons are LIEberal media stars lets not push to give them publicity.

While FOXNews beats all the news networks in individual ratings... it loses out when the ALL the opposition numbers are totaled. Combine that with an overwhelmingly, 'progressive' press and you see just how 'relevant' they are.
A question that is very easy to answer.
He is a Liberal/Socialist/Progressive/Marxist and so are 98% of the MSM.
The MSM and most of Hollywood idolize him because he is such an excellent liar.
The MSM hate Conservatives so they go overboard protecting the lying, perverted scum that is now the DeMARXocrat party.

Yes, the more the light is put on these people the better. I notice how resentment against the Christian peacemakers is growing in Britain and Canada as the appalling lack of gratitude and manners is demonstrated for the whole world to see.
