THis judge just screwed the pooch with this ruling. At least the Plea bargain put the conviction on her record, and she would have been on probation.

Instead, the judge save the "Integrity" of the judicial system, but since the family doesn't want the boy to testify, the charges will be dropped and for all intents and purposes the crime will have never been committed.

WESH TV is reporting just that. Prosecutors promised the mother of the victim in this case that the boy would not have to testify. But because Marion County Judge Hale Stancil rejected this second plea deal, the only other option for prosecutors would be a trial, which would force the boy to testify.
