...letters to his office were running 3 to 1 in favor...I'm surprised that four people bothered to write letters to him.

Does this mean President Bush can wiretap Democratic offices, CNN, NBC, etc.
I wonder whose side they are on....

"Censure is a quick way to solve the problem. Pass a resolution. It's over. We can get back to the work of fighting terrorism, dealing with health care issues."Is it just me, or does this sound like, "I think I stepped in it, let's hurry up and get this over with before I look like an even bigger buffoon."

"We have laws already that allow the president to wiretap your line for 72 hours without a warrant. All he has to do is apply for that warrant." Someone explain to me why one would need to apply for a warrant when a warrant is not needed. Is this like supporting the war before you don't support the war?

Just not terrorists in our own backyard?

Huh? Feingold supports and has always supported a program over which he wants to impeach the President even though it was legal for the President to engage in the program activities? Is there no journalist out there who will pose this question?
To: oolatec
Apply for a warrant after 72 hours is up.

Just a Senator who is a Democrat....what else can
you say...These people have to be the most biased,
egotistical humans that ever walked the halls of
Congress...Kennedy, Kerry, Schumer, Clinton, Boxer,
Feinstein, Durban, Cole,
Reid, etc.etc.etc. sad and they all
call Bush every name in the book...Voters..remember
their names...vote their A$$$ out..OUT. Jake

I don't get it. If the President has the power to wiretap without a warrant, why does he need to apply for a warrant? This doesn't make any sense.
