Ah yes. Another stupid "meat puppet" with the intellect of a flea and the ego of an elephant.

Laura Ingraham was talking about this yesterday and played the clip. As her most recent book starts off, "They (the
Hollywood/liberal elites) think you're stupid." Apparently
folks like "Belcher" think the soldiers are stupid, too.

From Wikipedia: "(Belzer) worked as a paperboy and became known for his uncontrollable wit, which caused him to be kicked out of every school he attended. After high school he was a reporter for the Bridgeport Post. He unsuccessfully attended junior college and later enlisted in the Army. He soon realized it was a mistake and tried to get out."

Genius.

The reason why they believe that the U.S. soldier is an empty-headed dupe isn't tough to figure out.

Hollywood doesn't help did you see the movie "Jarhead"? I wouldn't recomend it.

Those that can, do. Those that can't, complain.

God bless our troops in harm's way and our President for the faith in them and the course he has taken.

I thought this guy was a jerk back in the '80s when he was constantly bashing Reagan in his standup routine. It turns out he's also a complete idiot. Check out this quote:

There was a time in journalism where a lot of liberal, so-called liberal people went into journalism. But today the so-called liberals like Dan Rather — is that a liberal? Is Sam Donaldson a liberal? Are these liberals? I mean, that's astounding to me. As Michael Moore said the other night, you know, most of the people in America are way to the left of all the Democratic candidates, 'cause any time you take a poll, they want a better environment. They want — the desire for the death penalty is going down. And, you know, people want health care. They will help the indigent. So, you know, the fact that our present government has been hijacked by several dozen white intellectual right-wing guys who, you know, have grants—

Yeah, Munch . . . the whole country's to the left of Kery and Gore. They're just too stupid to vote that way. By the way, your non-liberal buddies like Dan Rather are the ones asking the questions in those polls. Nut.

these people are all on drugs .
they have almost no self control and allow their own little ego's to rage wildly . The drugs allow them to spout out with whatever drifts through their shallow minds.

Belzer is a weak coward. He thinks he's tough by shouting the F-word at a congress woman.

I'm sure Belzer is a political and military genius because he reads twenty far left rags a day (smirk). In fact most dailies that average Americans read are far left/liberal in their orientation. Just like my old rag (which my wife still subscribes to) The La Crosse (Wisc) Tribune. When I was growing up, the Tribune was very conservative. Now it is just a mouthpiece for the Donkey party and the wacko leftists. It recently printed a guest editorial by Howard Zinn.

I would venture that most American dailies have tilted sharply to the left in the last forty years. That is why many Americans think that corporations are evil, the rich pay no taxes, people are starving in the streets, and Hussein was no threat to us.

Belzer wasn't funny when he did drugs. He's less entertaining when he's sober. He was a has-been in the 1970's. Probably got work because he knew secrets about fellow entertainers, especially popular comics that were much more talented than himself when they suffered from typhoid and cholera on the same night. Hey Rich, okay, we're like laughing at you not with you--okay.~Imitating Belzer's comedic style. Wasn't that rip-roaring hilarious?

They perform tasks -- from the incredibly dangerous to the intolerably mundane --without complaint or plea for recognition.

I have to take issue with this statement. Anyone who makes this kind of comment has obviously never stood in front of his team and said, "Ok, guys - we need to police the area, and then go down to the flight line for a FOD walk." Or "The Lieutenant wants us to move the spare line to the north side of the shop, and the maintenance rails to the south side of the shop because it makes the hangar have more 'flow' to it."

Oh, yeah - they (me included) complain, but we got the work done while we did it.

The reports I've read say that the soldiers in Iraq are highly qualified, intelligent and well educated, not to mention motivated. It's not the old cliche of "they couldn't get a job so they joined the army".

This Belcher, whoever he is, has been on another planet, or under a rock. Or he belched his brains out.

Belzer has been touting his "20 newspapers a day" routine for decades to flaunt his intellect. I kid you not, he used to be a regular guest on Howard Stern and even Stern laughed at how stupid Belzer was. "I read 20 newspapers a day and have a place in France", right man, that makes you a genius!!

It would be fitting for Mr. Belzer to encounter a US Marine, fresh from Iraq, on some city street in the very near future. I'm interested to find out if the wisdom he's acquired from reading "twenty newspapers a day" would enable him from getting popped in the mouth.

My favorite Belzer moment was when, on some late-nite show, Hulk Hogan put Belzer in some sort of sleeper hold and the dude just dropped like a rock. . out cold. Mr. T was standing next to the Hulkster laughing his ass off as Belzer's head bounced off the stage floor.

When Belzer woke up. . .he was totally pissed and I think it went to a lawsuit. . .WAY TO GO HULKSTER!!!!

You'd be hard pressed to find another group of people who are more abusive than those who seek peace for a living.

Isn't that the truth. During my career as a university professor, I have gotten to know Leftists all too well. The more they talk about peace, the nastier they become. One should especially beware of those who urge "sensitivty" and "caring"—they are adept at backstabbing.
