Later in the show, Ch. 7 showed world wide antiwar protest. The numbers were down with the most overseas being several thousand, usually several hundred.

The excuse that an antiwar rep gave on Ch. 7 was that since so many people (65% per NEWSWEEK poll) already think that the war ir wrong, the protesters don't have to get out their message by protesting. What a piece of crap.

I firmly believe that when we even when we have small numbers countering these "people" we still get air time. Whether its a great interview or mention that we were out there. The stupid viewers don't know how many were really are, but we still get our view out.

SO TO ALL THE antiSTREET PROTEST FREEPERS WHO THINK WE ARE DEGRADING OURSELVES, I THINK THE PROOF IS IN THE LOW ANTIWAR PROTEST NUMBERS!!!!

That's been my experience in attempting to hold "conversations" with this sort. Confront them with logic and real facts, and they fly off the handle.

Thats true, I actually had a, or tried to have a conversation with one of the dirties and he didn't make much sense to me... In his defense he did remain calm. He told me something like we should have a better foreign policy towards the middle east and to do that we should be giving money to countries like Iran and Palestine so that they can build their countries to better serve the people and make better lives for them. So I simply asked him if he though if we gave money to Iran for instance, if they would use that money for good or to build their bombs and then attack us and our allies. He thought that they wouldn't use the money for evil. Um right. Then we moved on to Palestine... I asked if he thought that money would go to good or be used to attack Israel. He said that was up to them. I wanted clarification, so I said, so you think its Ok for us to fund Palestine so that they can destroy Israel.... He said, "well, uh, .... well...." Uh yeah dirty, you have zero clue.

Actually, she did engage a moderate lefty, and used that very argument.

He said something to the effect of "We should give money to everyone"

She responded:
"So you want to give money to Hamas and the PLO? What do you think they would spend it on?
Schools or bombs?
You want to fund terrorism???"

According to her description of the dialogue, the lefty did not seem to know that WorldCantWait was a communist front group.
