Two of our gutsy members stood the line against the moonbataloonies today at the corner of Massachusetts Ave and Observatory Circle.
We were running very very late, and after a few wrong turns and a missed pickup at Catholic University, we parked and got our signs out.
My "Thank God for George Bush" sign brought a few hoorahs, and attaboys from some youngsters walking on the other side of the street, but that was short-lived.
When we arrived at the corner, I announced that "Protest Warrior is in the house" and called out Princess, who was hiding behind a tree with his desecrated American Flag.
Our presence on that corner, in front of the British Embassy, seemed to irritate the morons because they couldn't stay on their side, they had to come over and try to block our signs from the passing traffic, in addition to wuke fwom wockville making an idiot of himself while I was being interviewed by AP and WaPo.
That moron needs some new shoes. I guess if he ever gets a job, he'll buy some.
We held our own, and ARATT did a marvelous job with a reporter from Channel 7 WJLA.
So watch the 6 o'clock news.
Other than a few exchanges between myself and wuke, and Princess, the counter-protest was un-eventful, but I would say successful, because we upset them enough to make them cross the street.
I guess free speech only applies to moonbats with a liberal message.

There were actually THREE of us there, because the fellow who runs Che-Mart, Communists for Kerry, and People'sCube, was there, filming.
