...where he earned a masters degree in public policy.

Isn't that some sort of made-up BS degree?

Isn't Kalb about 80 years old now? I haven't heard his name in years. He's one of those "I thought he was dead" guys.

Agreed.

As I read the posts I thought I was losing my mind, but at least one other person agrees with me!!!

Doesn't mean I'm not losing my mind...just not on this issue.

There's only three anchors worth watching on Fox, anymore: Neil Cavuto, John Gibson, and Brit Hume.

They are my favorites also, plus include Tony Snow. But no one forces anyone to listen to Marvin Kalb, or any of the other liberals. I mute them when they speak

But, but wait. I thought Fox News was conservative? :)

Yep, I just tivo'ed the first season of 24, it was much sharper than the current issue.

"I thought Marvin Kalb to be retired/dead years ago."

Ditto. Isn't grave-robbing a crime?

I think it's too easy to forget the bad old day of the MSM. Remember, the "bi-partisan" panel of discussions? Five liberal lunatics, plus one liberal reporter, and then one RINO to balance out the panel.

I agree with others. I am not afraid of putting up my conservative ideas against the nut bags. Fair and balanced. As long as it truly remains that, we'll do just fine and so will FOX. Now, should they start to go squishy on us in order to appeal to the Manhattan and San Fransisco crowd, then all bets are off.

I'll second that!

you can see this starting to happen with 24.

Yeah, addressing Chechyn terrisn is legit, but doesn't take a lot of guts.

BUT, only with TiVo...gotta have that fast forward feature to cull out the [too] occasional liberal BS that get's slipped in!

LOL....around here I've switched to sports away from Fox and my hubby has switched from the history channel to cooking shows.

I guess it's easier to snooze to cooking than the sounds of cannons booming.....LOL

It's fine with me. It will help squash that phrase so well loved by the left---- "right-wing Fox News".

Those who idolize Kalb and those who might follow him to Fox will also be exposed to 'fair and balanced' and finally see that there are two sides to an issue.

They got pretty darn squishy before the last election. If it weren't for the eye candy...

AKA the Hitler Channel, because that's all they ever seem to cover.

Fair and Balanced, You Decide is what they pitch. They are not the RNCs propaganda tool, they are not responsible for putting out conservative talking points. But, by having both sides presenting the story it gives people a chance to decide for themselves what they want to believe. You simply don't get that anywhere else.

Frankly, that's all you can ask for.

I agree 100 percent

Brit Hume is probably the best newscaster around. I really admire Fred Barnes, but honestly I do not get what is happening to FOX.

***************

Other than Hume's show, I've stopped watching Fox entirely.

Fox is in dire need of someone like Brit Hume to give the place a very vigorous house cleaning.

My candidates for a pink slip:

Sheepherd Smith
No'Reilly
Kalb
Wesley Clark

Of course there are more but this would be a good beginning and last but not least, WHERE IS LAURIE DHUE!!
