They used to say this about women also. And those who dared to say the Earth revolved around the sun.

Why do homosexuals feel the need to co-opt the civil rights movement? It sickens me that they compare themselves to black Americans who had firehoses turned on them!

I wonder where these preople get the money to do nothing but protest.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems that the founder of SoulForce, Mel White, (he lives here in Lynchburg) stayed away from the protest in order to pay bond for the 24 who were arrested.

The same group was here last year and were invited on the grounds of LU and did interact with the student population. However, Dr. Falwell said they would not be welcome this year because he felt that they were using this for a media event and weren't sincere in their intentions (among those attending the protest was MTV and a documentary film crew).

Spring break started for LU today so many students weren't even there during the protest.

You're not suggesting that they're a bunch of drama queens, are you?

Maroon = moron. It's the way Bugs Bunny said it in the old Warner Brothers cartoons.

I had to see if they were going to my alma mater... they're not... (Bob Jones University)... laugh.. I have to wonder why...

That said I went to the rides website.. they have a section of about 10 letters from current students at some of the schools they are going to protest at...

The one big question I had was ... then why are you going to that school? These are private schools... the rules are there before you get there... Homosexuals want everyone to accept THEM - but THEY do not want to accept anyone who differs from THEIR point of view.. I just don't get it.

John 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

This too, is an important concept, yes?

Liberty is a PRIVATE institution. Why can't gays keep their gayness PRIVATE? Why flaunt it at everyone?

"Liberty is a PRIVATE institution."

I find he name of the institution most ironic.

Liberty:

(a) The condition of being free from restriction or control.
(b)The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing.

I hope the police and emergency responders were wearing the appropriate protective gloves just in case any of those "enlightened" homosexuals claiming to be "gay Christians" started to bleed.

I remember a time when homosexuality was not only considered a mental disorder, but it automatically meant that you would NEVER be granted a security clearance under any conditions, due to the possibility of blackmail by a foreign power.

SETTLE down sodomites, I said "blackmail", not "black male".

It is not your place to judge what is a sin or not. That is for God alone. Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Do you recall when blacks had to sit at the rear of the bus, enter the back door, and eat in "black only" resturaunts? Do you recall when women were not allowed to vote? Do you recall when only wealthy landowners could vote or send their children to college?
