UNfortunately, the entire last 10 years has to be taken with a grain of salt. The proof is in the way players look now.

Compare Jason Giambi now and 2 years ago, same for Jeff Bagwell, Barry, etc etc

Sosa is so power sapped now he retired.

The good thing of all this is that maybe we will get back to real baseball, where defense and pitching are as important as hitting.
