This teacher might actually be a nice guy, and a good person -- though he made a big mistake by giving his own opinions in class -- but, any way you slice it, he looks like he's about 12 years old in this photo!
Yet, this photo was published in the news article:
Bennish Plans Federal Lawsuit To Go Back To Work

Meanwhile, his conservative HS student looks more mature -- like he's ready for his own radio talk show!

Doesn't so much look 12 as he looks like an escape from the 60's.
Hasn't figured out that lank and dirty is not a fashion statement.

He looks like a Legolas wannabe (Elf from Lord of the Rings). Also as i said in another thread he reminds me of the Jim J Bullock guy who played in Too Close for Comfort.

Van Driesen was a hippie, but I don't think he'd say the hateful things this guy said. He really was into the "Can't we just love one another, mmkay?" bit.
And, from the photos, I think Sean could kick his ass, easy.

He is on tape TEACHING a classroom of kids that the White House, the Pentagon, and the Twin Towers are military targets. To me that was much more scurrilous than his personal DU rant about the president.
Not a nice person!
