Hillary Clinton, a leading opponent of DP World's takeover of some US port operations, was this week forced to admit that she did not know her husband had advised Dubai leaders on how to handle the growing dispute.

This wouldn't surprise me. I don't think there is a lot of communication in that marriage.

But she did know that back in college Bill had a beard and he reminded her of a Viking, which was perfect ............... because she reminded him of Iceland.

I would have thought that this kind of Viking would have been more appealing to Hillary:

awwwww, c'mon .. stop picking on Hillary. Any of us could easily forget how our family income was enlarged by a measly $450K.

If the Clintons are really leading separate lives, as many here suggest, perhaps she really is unaware of many of his activities.

She knew. She lied. And took the money.

I would too, but we may never hear or see that part of this story. I liken the hysteria of the Democrats and the unions to their disdain toward Wal-Mart.

I've found that many of these foreign port operators (particularly PSA Singapore) around the world don't like to meddle with unions. It appears DPW belongs in that camp. So, the Democrats cry "foul!" associate it with National Security, but we see the long tentacles of an age-old relationship between the Democrats and the unions (namely the Longshoreman in this case) begin to entwine and cinch up, in order to save union jobs, and the job security of the Democrats because corrupt union wampum are what drive the Democrat agenda.

Money is obviously changing hands in some smoky backroom. We can't see it, but it's obvious with the silken bonds that bond the Democrats and the unions together.

DPW is a private government enterprise, and nothing scares Democrats and their union voters than to see union labor tossed into the scrap heap.

This port deal is a sure thing, and it will go through. Once it does, Democrats will be back to screaming about "high unemployment figures" and demanding compensation for "millions of lost jobs".

I hope during her Senate campaign this issue will be raised over and over again.

This is the same woman who took a tax deduction for her husband's used underwear. She knows where every bloody penny comes from and where it's going.
