I hope it's true, but these Middle Eastern news sources aren't exactly the most reliable.
KUNA isn't reporting we caught him they are just reporting that we are investiagting if we caught him. He changes his appearence all the time, which is why the Iraqis caught and released him before.
On the contrary some of them, Kuna included, are far far more accurate than the western news agencies covering Iraq.
There probably just as or more reliable than our own Main Stream Media.
Especially the New York Times.
