New Orleans officials continue to believe they are above the Constitution of the United States.

LOL! We are not THAT bad

Good post! Law enforcement in New Orleans have long believed that they were above the law. I remember a few years ago that they were so corrupt that the Justice Department was about to step in. Never heard anything else about that though. Seems like it was 10 or so years ago?

It has become more and more noticeable that while "liberals" are more than willing to use the courts to force policies upon the citizens of America that they can never win at the voting booth, that they do not feel a corresponding obligation to follow the court edicts when they go against them.

The continuing anguish that they suffer over the "fact" that Bush stole the 2000 election by defending himself in court against the attempted theft by Algore, and their repeated attempts to overturn that election by any means they can think of, is just one of the most egregious examples. I hope they never get over it.

But I do think a little jail time for contempt of court would help them to adjust their attitude a little. Or maybe not; some people cannot let go of their hate enough to learn.
