Elian's mother didn't make it, and thanks to Clinton/Reno, that boy is now a full time puppet for the Castro regime.
Anyone at all who wants to argue that Clinton did at least a few good things need only look at the picture of 6 yr. old Elian Gonzalez being pulled from at closet at dawn by stormtroopers with machine guns. That one act is the Clinton years in total.

I would think the more relevant discussion to this thread than what is currently going on is HOW will this be enforced? Does anyone think Castro is going to let the 15 come back after they very publicly fled his oppressive government?

I wonder... why the federal hard line against Cuban immigrants, and such a soft touch with Mexican ones? Administrations come and go, but the permanent Washington bureaucracy is solidly Pro-Communist...

Like it or not, our Declaration of Independence OBLIGATES those who wish to call themselves Americans with the responsibility of taking care of people such as Elian and his mother.
