I'm not entirely sure either, but bear in mind the British committed their fair share of atrocities on us - if they were such a good bunch, there wouldn't have been an American Revolution. Certainly they didn't murder people as Stalin did, but the idea that one can change ideologies and overthrow a government is one with which we should be familiar.
The real point I was trying to make is, if any man committed heinous acts in the name of Communism, he should be dealt with - and those who did not, but were associated with the party apparatus, should be given the benefit of the doubt. Obviously the Russian people have already done this, or Putin wouldn't be president.
