We debated in Sunday School yesterday....When we all get to heaven will God have a question and answer session..Will we get to ask why the murders, rapes, molestations.etc or will we be so wrapped up in the glory of heaven that all the earthly things will just fade away? tragedies like this one makes me wonder

My husband and I went to the big city yesterday for my birthday.We ended up a couple blks away from this all going down with squad cars clearing intersect we figured something big was happening, Yet...........
Why does it seem to me to be odd and a bit difficult to commit suicide with a shot gun? After reading the report, All I can see is this guy runnin out of his house and down the street from the cops shooting and missin' them, then sittin' down pulling a shoe off, then shoving' a big toe in the trigger, if it will fit, then pulling the trigger and hitting himself in the chest? huh? well maybe. It does save time, money and paper work for some folks.
I wonder if the entry of the wound is front to back or back to front, with a shot gun it would make a big mess for sure.

I'll stand behind his comment. If you think everyone who goes to church is a Christian, you are quite naive.

In addition to worshipers, there are folks there to listen to the music, there are folks there out of tradition, there are folks there for business development reasons (either networking, or in smaller cities because it helps to belong to the right church.) There are folks dragged there by family members.

They are all welcome, since they might be called through the hearing of the Word.

If you think that church attendance equals salvation, please let me know, and I'll be happy to share the truths of the Gospel message with you.

DETROIT -- Two Detroit police officers were shot during a traffic stop early Monday morning on the city's west side.

The shooting occurred just before 4 a.m. at a Mobil gas station located at Evergreen and Fenkell, Local 4 reported.

The officers had spotted the suspects' vehicle in connection with a previous incident and pulled over the vehicle at the gas station, according to the report. The officers were checking the identification of the driver and returned to their patrol car when someone opened fire, the station reported.

The officers initially returned to their car to chase the suspects, but then realized they were shot and pulled over, Local 4 reported. One officer was shot in his bullet-proof vest, and the other was shot beneath his vest, the station reported.

Did the channel 4 news have two reporters on the site this morning?
G-Whiz! You know, it really sounds stupid, like the police didn't know they were hit until they were in the squad car then they pulled over. When they the officers noticed one in the chest but hit the vest and the other was hit just under maybe past the cover of the vest?

Or maybe it could be understood like this....... the report at 4am was the first squad and they
were the ones hit by open fire outside the gas station. So then later a second police car later found suspects to be of interest in the area and they were the ones who gave chase to the suspects.
Don't know, We've only lived here in Detroit S. area just short of a year after having to close a Chicago business, Chicago has some very bad areas, So news like this is unfortunately but almost common to any large city. It seems the News in Chicago you could at least understand the "when" "who" "what" and "where" like 6th grade level of understanding, but the news up here is strange to say the least.
Maybe I need to take another communications class.

More importantly, what happened to the suspects?
Suicide worked out for a lot of people yesterday.

Several years ago, the two daily newspapers entered into a joint operating agreement. Since then, the grammar is lacking. The TV media is no better. Fox 2 has no national news, and Channel 62 has no local news. Channel 20 is merging with channel 50 and creating a new one. The media is poor in this town.
