Freeper Research Project - Freeper Personalities: Results!
Freeper Research Project: Freeper personality tests ^ | February 26, 2006 | Alamo-Girl and Nita Nupress

Posted on 02/26/2006 9:34:23 AM PST by Alamo-Girl

Below are the first results of the research project!

We would like to improve on the project by adding occupations to the chart below. The occupations listed in each type code will not be associated with Freeper handles.

If you would care to share that information, please post your code and occupation, e.g. INTJ - physicist.

If you don't want others to know your occupation, you could send either Nita Nupress or me a Freep mail with the information.

Thank you all so very much for participating in this project! If you'd like to be listed in the next update, please take the test and let us know your code and scores:

What do I do?

I don't "do" anything.

I am a gentleman.

"Occupation: Eight-Track Tape Repairman ;-) That is a good one. Are those things still around?"

I still have an AM/FM/Quadraphonic 8-track tape player and about a dozen tapes from the early 70s, mostly of the Moody Blues.

Just remember something about our buddy Darksheare;

He's Chuck Norris.

Wow, thank you for such an interesting thread, Alamo-Girl. I've only taken the first test, but I'm a (new) journalist and am an Introverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Perceiving Jungian type.

What a fascinating idea! :)

INTJ artist and writer here. Yes, I know, it's against type but aren't all female INTJ's?

Psst...it would be interesting to know the male/female ratio!

Um, need I say it? - Engineer

LOL!

What's interesting is to compare with your spouse. I'm an INFP, my husband is an INTP (he learned that in some team-building exercise at his workplace).

I just showed him my results, my highest score was for feelings (I won't even attempt to do a Rush impression, LOL). So my husband, the thinker, saw that and said, "Oh boy." :)

No Freepers are yet identified as ESTP

What would be interesting is for some good graphics/statistcs person to come up with some pie charts showing what type(s) predominate at FR.

I can already see that INFP is not a heavyweight around here, LOL!

And that might explain a lot at least for me, personally. I tend to get very involved, and can feel passionately about things, but at the same time I don't want to hurt people's feelings.

On that note, I'm sorry I couldn't remember the other INFP's on that list, but I'm getting pressure to get off the pc to call Grandma, so I can't cut and paste, etc.

I went and took the test (even though my Kersey is here somewhere...) and here are my numbers:

100,75,62,33

Would you believe I'm happily married to an INFP? Go figure. An analytical, non-emotional female married to a guy who builds castles in the sky and then LIVES in them!
