I like snowboarding and skiing a lot. I sit here in Mississippi and watch it all the time on TV. A man has got to know his limitations. I personally participate in riding on or in bicycles, horses, motorcycles and boats.

horses

I just started horse back riding lessons about 4 months ago

Something I have always wanted to do and I love it!

Doesn't take long being around horses to want one of your own

I really like a breed called Paso Fino

This Paso Fino Palomino Stallion is gorgeous, isn't he!

I am a Texan and I went skiing once a year for a number of years. A one week a year ski trip is not enough to (1.) get very good at it (2.) get your ski muscles in shape so that you CAN get very good at it.

No matter what exercises I did before skiing, they never stopped me from being so sore I wanted to die. I think skiing uses muscles that you never use for anything else.

I gave up skiing when I turned 55 because I realized I had turned into an old person. I knew this because AARP had me on their mailing list and they told me about once a week that I was old. Old people take a long time to heal when they break things so I knew it was time to stop, that and the pain.
