Just a bedliner.
I would probably dump 120 lbs of rock salt into a rugged Rubbermaid container and secure it into the bed. This is a future plan because I haven't taken delivery of my intended truck as of yet.

Thank you.
I know that the excerpt list changes from time to time, so I thought it would helpful on the copy right claim issues to generally avoid posting full articles.
Do you have a different preference ?
LOL... Several years ago, there was a guy who worked at another building at our post, and he had a corn stalk with ears growing out of the dirt in his spare tire. The Austin paper actually came out and took a picture of that and had it in the paper.
I use elevator weights for traction weight, a set of tire chains, a tool box, the hitch I always smash my shin into if I dont remove it, tie downs ,a hook so I can reach the front without climbing in, (I have a fibre glass cover over the bed)Keeps out that ice this guy has a problem with. If it snows I add a blanket and an extra coat. The only time I carry gas is when I am transporting it. I dont like the idea of it spilling back there.
"How many times have I told you I don't want no horsing around on the airplane ?"
Absolutely nothing! I just cleaned it out today, Now lets not discuss my driveway though.
Yep, I have to put the top up on my convertible two or three times a year.
I really did LOL.
With all that survival equipment, plus 2 feet of ice in the back of a Ford Ranger F150, the bed of the pickup is going to be pressed firmly against the rear tires, preventing it from ever leaving the driveway.
You are going to need a heavier duty truck.
I hope that sunshade covers all of your body so you dont get blistering sunburn :-p
its 19 degrees here and cloudy in indiana brrr
If it's on the list, follow those rules, the rest is your preference. You might want to bookmark that list, Jim updates it as needed.
Thank you. I will do.
"When I was a younger man and had a life," stated Clinton, "I owned an El Camino pickup in the '70s. It was a real sort of Southern deal. I had Astroturf in the back. You don't want to know why, but I did."
You should have seen the looks on people's faces when he drove down the road. He had a piece of plywood tied onto the front of the bed to keep the wind from breaking the stalk.
An extremely dusty bedliner & tonneau cover.
at one point, a pickup I owned (and used regularly) actually had grass growing in the back of it"
I believe you. My son had corn growing in the bed of his truck from deer corn that had spilled out. True story.
You poor guys...lol! :)
I did two stints in California. Served my time there, hehehe. Besides, I like the cold winter weather and the much less dense population.
