No preference! I know some people try to "jimmy" the Amazon numbers---I know one prof who did a test of Amazon rankings and he and his graduate students purchased and tracked several hundred copies to see what difference it made. They got it into the top 50, and concluded that anything in the top 100 is selling 3-4 copies per day.

Ooooh, new book to read. Hope it doesn't hook me to the point I end up staying up all night because I can't put the book down. This happens with too great frequency. Ruins me for the next couple of days trying to recover and get back on a decent sleep cycle.
