One would not need to expose operatives in the field in order to remind Americans about how the left wrote about the growing relationship between Saddam and OBL in the 90's.
Or that Saddam paid AQ terrorists in the 90's. Or that Clinton's Justice Department's federal indictment against Osama bin Laden mentions specifically that Iraq and AQ will work together on weapons development.
Unless Bin Ladin or Saddam tell the world what type of relationship they had going on, it will never be proven to the satisfaction of any of the Bush Haters.
So why bother. Fight and win, Victory is better proof.
