It's actually a pretty scenic section of town, they keep it nice for the tourists.

I've been there twice and tought it was one of the mpst beautiful cities I have ever seen. The area around the red light district, and the district itself, are very nice.
It was quite an eye opener to walk by the windows and see the prostitutes displaying their wares.
