I remember something about that but I don't remember it being played up in the press.

If you are so inclined (assuming it's even possible), take a trip down memory lane to 1998/1999 on FreeRepublic.

Several of us were debunking Generalissimo Clark literally in real time as he was making press announcements.

The irony is that the loud mouth hippies that complained about the government lies at the time of Vietnam now run the media and didn't want to hear the truth during Beelzebubba's non-UN approved bombing of Kosovo and Serbia.

And believe me, there was plenty of debate on those old Balkans threads.  That debate never made it to congress or the media.

I am inclined and don't really know if it's possible because I didn't know about FR until a year or so ago or have a computer until about 3 years ago because home computers came late in my life. I do thank you for the info though, I think. :)
