Schaefer's famous for being a Character (capital C) in Maryland. He used to be the Governor. He wasn't married, so his housekeeper/romantic interest, Hilda Mae Snoops, was his official hostess for state functions - and I am TOTALLY not making up her name. :)
They had to id as a democrat so the feminazis would know not to get upset.
