ANNE BRADLEY O'NEILL passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006. Anne was born in Monroe, Louisiana on October 23, 1947 and moved to Houston when she was two years old with her parents, Dick and Louise Bradley. She was a graduate of Lee High School and Ole Miss where she was a Chi Omega and recipient of various honors. After working at Mitchell Energy, Anne married John O'Neill in 1976. The couple was blessed with two wonderful children, Katie (1977) and Bradley (1981). Anne was a member of the Junior League of Houston and River Oaks Garden Club. She was a leader in parent organizations at St. Michael's School and Episcopal High School. She was an elder at St. Philip Presbyterian Church. In 1981, Anne was diagnosed with Wegener's disease, a rare and lethal immunological disorder. Through the skill of Drs. Suki, Zacca, Frost and others, accompanied by God's grace and her own courage, she survived this scourge for 25 years, becoming the longest lived survivor of Wegeners'. She believed that God proved through her rich life that we need not become the bad things that happen to us. Most recently, she arose from a kidney transplant to assist the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's crucial effort in the 2004 Presidential Campaign. Their No. 1 bestseller Unfit for Command was dedicated to her courage. She was preceded in death by her father, Dick. She is survived by her mother, Louise Bradley; husband, John; children, Katie, her husband John Clark; and Bradley; as well as a sister, Tucker. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six until eight o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 14th of February, 2006 in the Library of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. A graveside service will be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 15th of February, 2006 at Glenwood Cemetery, 2525 Washington Avenue in Houston, with a memorial service to be conducted at eleven o'clock at First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main Street in Houston, with a reception to follow at the church.

She will always be among my heroes. Too overwhelmed to say more right now.

Their is no limit to the accomplishments a man can achieve with a wife who believes in him, even if half the world stands against him.
