BOSTON, United States (AFP) - A US federal grand jury indicted a Canadian national on terrorism-related charges, including conspiracy to kill US soldiers abroad.

Abdullah Khadr, 24, the son of a former friend of Osama bin Laden, was arrested in Canada last December and is currently in custody awaiting extradition to the United States.

The indictment unveiled by federal prosecutors in Boston charged Khadr with buying munitions for rifles and machine guns, mortar rounds and rocket-propelled grenades for use against US forces in Afghanistan.

"Our efforts to identify and capture alleged terrorists who seek to kill Americans here and abroad transcend all borders," said US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

"Today's indictment sends the message to terrorists around the world that we will go to great lengths to bring justice to those who provide Al-Qaeda and other terrorists with the weapons to carry out their deadly and evil goals," he said.

Khadr has denied links to terrorism, but admitted that he and his brothers had attended Al-Qaeda military training camps in Afghanistan when he was 13 years old.

His father, Egyptian-born Ahmed Said Khadr, was accused of being a top Al-Qaeda financier and friend of Osama bin Laden before he was killed by Pakistani authorities in October 2003.

His 19-year-old brother, Omar, is being held prisoner at the US naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, charged with killing a US soldier in Afghanistan when he was 15 years old.

You're not kidding.

When 'Abdullah Khadr, 24, the son of a former friend of Osama bin Laden' needed health care, the family high tailed it back to Canada, and were tended to upon arrival.

So get him extradited already. There's a cell reserved for him at Gitmo!

Nah, that is too expensive.

My solution involves three words:

Ready, Aim, Fire.

O.K. , enough of this sheit.
New Canadian immigration rule:
If the applicant has a name with 1000 miles of Abdullah Khadr and/or
your father's name is anything close to "Ahmed Said Khadr"
and/or your brother's name is "Omar", then guess what?
What? Do I need to draw you a picture?
O.K.
