BEIRUT, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Lebanese demonstrators set the Danish consulate on fire on Sunday to protest against the publication by European newspapers of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, a Reuters witness said. A cloud of black smoke was billowing from the site. The images of the Prophet, forbidden in Islam, first appeared in a Danish newspaper.

The poor Danes! Well, will these brave Mohammedan citizens now torch the German, French, Swiss, Italian, Dutch, and Spanish embassies? Something tells me they won't. But then, you never know with psychos, do you?

This is planned by someone, probably Iran.

If this is the culture War CNN is clearly on the other side. While embassies burned, CNN lovingly explained the rioters point of view. They started referring to the Koran as the Holy Quaran during the toilet incident, another which outraged Islam.
Now they refer to Muhammad as the Prophet Mohammad. They who smirk at the mention of Christ, Christianity, Judaism, are outright reverent at anything Islamic.
Hoping the crocodile eats you last, CNN, or is it all that nice access?

>>I somehow doubt that the Danes will put up with too much of this crap.<<
I say give these muzzie idiots exactly what they want: total isolation from the civilized world. That would include, of course, cutting off diplomatic ties, and all financial aid, to any regime that tolerates this insane, bullsh*t behavior.
Let the bastards eat sand. Maybe Old Mo can save them; he is such a kind and tolerant sort. Truth is, most of these protestors are too friggin' ignorant and illiterate to have ever studied the quran, and follow any towel-wearing, berobed "revered muslim cleric" that appeals to their basest instincts.
Why can't Europe, and millions of our own citizenry, not see that this insanity is at the boiling point? To ignore it is suicide.

I agree. After the first terrorist act, the particular country should have rounded up all their Muslim guests and shipped them home. They cannot be trusted. After all, the Quran tells them not only to lie to the infidel, but murder them as well.
What really galls me is how much money we give terrorists. Someone had some figures on a thread here the other day. Absolutely astounding. Why don't we all just lay our necks on the chopping block and get it over with?

CNN reporting rioters went into a Christian neighborhood and beat people. Reporter personally saw 6-7 jihadists attack one person.

Actually, there is a soft underbelly of Islamic arrogance in display. The western use of free press might be a more significant weapon in defending democracy and the republic, than use of military force.
Politically, these rebellions by the common Muslim help bring western apathy into check. This is something that national patriotism hasn't been able to complete.
IMHO, a political war needs to be strung in bipartisan fashion to defend western thinking from Islamic terror.
After intense deliberation, I have concluded in the negative to Rodney King's immortal question.

It would be more accurate to title the chart "Embassies Destroyed..." They rampaged the Danish embassy in Jakarta. They set fire to Norway, Denmark, Chile and Sweden embassies in Damascus. They set fire to the Danish embassy in Beirut. That's five total.

I just slammed
CNN via their contact page:
From the caption currently on the leading picture on your home page:
Smoke billowed today from the Danish Consulate in downtown Beirut, Lebanon, where hundreds of demonstrators protested a Danish newspaper's publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed. Islamic anger over the depictions of the Mohammed is boiling over into violence around the world.
Demonstrators? DEMONSTRATORS? I ask....
These people are rioters, thugs, and terrorist criminals for ruining property. "Demonstrators" indeed.
To: HAL9000
It's nice to see the governments of these countries doing all they can to ensure the safety of the Danish diplomats. /s

Chile?! Was their embassy just on the same route as the Danish one?

Ever notice that these signs always seem to be in English? Not arabic. And notice that in this case, not in Danish.

Before going to bed last night, I just *knew* I'd wake up to more news of other embassy attacks.
My thought is this: These Islamists' plan was to beat the various nations (Denmark, Norway, etc) into submission, and when they didn't get that, they started pulling this crap. So, instead of succeeding in forcing their will on Western nations, they are succeeding in building perhaps the biggest blowback and opposition to their bogus "plight" yet. They overplayed their hand big-time here, it appears.

Where was the Christian neighborhood? Beirut?
There was a thread last night about muzzies ganging up on Danes in Copenhagen, but with no links and just a supposed blogosphere source, it was on rather shakey legs.
However these roaming bands communicating by cell phone and palm pilot was the tactic used during the French riots.
