DAMASCUS -- Furious Syrians set fire to the Danish and Norwegian embassies on Saturday as protests over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad showed no signs of abating despite calls for calm. Oil giant Iran, already embroiled in a dispute with the West over its nuclear programme, said it was reviewing trade ties with countries that have published such caricatures.
Chanting "God is Greatest", thousands of protesters stormed the Danish embassy, burnt the Danish flag and replaced it with a flag reading "No God but Allah, Mohammad is His Prophet". They set fires which badly damaged the building before being put out.

It's funny how cartoons and books that don't jibe with their beliefs are more significant and offensive to these buffoonish savages than the very real violence that they themselves perpetuate. See a cartoon, burn an embassy, the scale of relativity is way off with these people. Funny in a curious, weird, odd way.
After all ....think about the sheer idiocy of the following dichotomy:
a) 'I am offended that you dare show muslims and Islam are malevolent and prone to terror activities.'
b) 'I will burn down buildings, and threaten kidnap and murder, because you drew a cartoon saying that I do all sorts of bad things.'
The muslims are their own worst enemies. They always have been since their faith was founded (where family member would kill family member, then join to kill another clan, then join clans to kill another tribal splinter, then join together to kill another tribe, then join together to kill another sect, etc) ....and they still are their own greatest enemy today.
After all, only a crazy group would make Europeans, who have always been a great support base, end up hating them. And that is exactly what the muslims are doing.
As you said ....nuts.
You can vote one of two ways here.
1. Either all the Muslims have gone nuts over a cartoon
2. They were all crazy to begine with and this just set them off.
I vote number 2 and fervently hope this is a wake up call to any non-Islamic country that Islamics are more trouble that they are worth in your country and cant be trusted in their own.
These loons need to be sent back to their medeastern countries of origin from all western societies.
There they could be dealt with using the fewest nukes.
