Well know isn't it interesting that they never ascertained Plame's status?

I have to wonder what happened over at the CIA and the Whitehouse when Joe Wilson's arguably classified OPED hit the NYT back in 2003...I imagine there was an angry phone call from GW to Tenet asking what the hell was going on...Tenet then puts out an "Emergency Data Call" to the Dept Heads to find out "Who the hell is Joe Wilson?".

After Tenet gets the story, he probably personally briefed the President. I would love to know how Tenet explained this kerfluffle. No one in the media has ever asked Tenet about this...It's almost as if they don't want the truth out there.

The Administation should have never gone on the defensive about this...The Wilson trip was a staged political attack.

There really isn't much for them to do. Just sit there waiting for the fat rabbits with the white tails to show up and plink them with an old .22 rifle.

Yesterday or so Rush said that Chris Matthews had a guest on that said Bush was scheming to make democrats look weak on defense. Really.

Bush doesn't have to say anything or even lift his little toe. But he also shouldn't just sit there amused. He's better when he gets out of DC and does a 'concert'.
