Muslims Storm Danish Embassy in Jakarta (ROP Going Cuckoo for CocoPuffs, re: Cartoons)
Hindustan Times ^ | 02/03/2006 | AP

Posted on 02/02/2006 10:39:22 PM PST by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

Hardline Muslims barged into a high-rise building housing the Danish Embassy on Friday to protest the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad.

They then tore and burnt the country's white and red flag.

The rowdy protest was one of the first in the world's most populous Muslim nation against the 12 cartoons, which first appeared in September in a Danish newspaper.

They were reprinted in several other European newspapers this week in a gesture of press freedom.

That's an act of war isn't it. Let's take it to them.

it might be an act of war but, who are you going to go to war against? Maybe they should join and support the WOT?

Hardline Muslims

As if this was necessary considering the context of the article.

I guess, they were the ones attacked. Would be nice if the home country where this happened helped out a little more too.

Go to war against all islamic extremist groups and I do mean all of them. Congress needs to formally declare war against the entire State Department Islamic terrorist organization list and we need to bring back sedition laws to keep our own domestic enemies in check. Islamic extremism is getting totally out of control and there are too many of these groups operating freely in the United States (fundraising for so called charities and money laundering) for my comfort level. I'm of the opinion that if we don't take these radicals out en masse, we are going to have very serious problems a few decades from now..when one of these whack jobs does actually manage to get the "bomb" or nasty bio weapon.

"Would be nice if the home country where this happened helped out a little more too."

Denmark has been a member of the coalition in Iraq.

http://www.iraqwarveterans.org/coalition.htm

Denmark published the silly cartoons which have the murderers so pissed.

The Danes are justifiably pissed because muslim males have been raping Danish females, since islam justifies raping "infidels."

While I can understand the Muslims' offense over the cartoons, I think these people are not only blowing this way out of proportion but simply exploiting the opportunity to stir up trouble. Apparently every lowlife who screams "Allah" has jumped onto the bandwagon.

How many times have I seen vicious cartoons aimed at Jews & Christians (quite a few in the Arab or Muslim press) but didn't run around waving sabers (literally). Hysteria seems to drive these people; it's their motivating force.

So it is ok to slaughter a school bus full of children in Mohammads name, but not ok to make a cartoon about it?

Time for a reality check here.

CNN International is honoring its commitment to Freedom of the Press by showing only pixalated views of the "offensive" cartoons. That and giving extensive airtime to the outraged Muslims.

The Quran states they don't have to be tolerant of Non believers until AFTER you live in an Islamic state. Only then are Muslims obligated to protect you (of course that doesn't mean bad things wont still happen)

When will the world stop walking on egg shells around these barbarians who refuse to join civilization past the 13th century.

The so-called "religion" of "peace" is a death cult of pieces.
