Relax, Ketchup Boy, you haven't a snowball's chance in hell!

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that the Dems will nominate Al Gore again.

The last time I lurked at DU (always good for a laugh) they had a poll up about the 2008 primaries. Gore was leading by a landslide. He had close to 50%, while Shrillary only had 7%.

You just may be right. He's doing everything to position himself as the really whacked-out far left choice. Hillary's negatives are too high--unpoliticized women will hate her with a passion. Kerry is just too much a caricature of himself to be a 2nd time candidate. Howard Dean is still Howard Dean. The ambulance chasing V.P. candidate from last time (forget his name) didn't make much of an impression on anybody. It's too early for Obama/Osama too run. There are no viable Dem candidates. That leaves AlGore. You've nailed it!!

Wouldn't put it past them.

For some reason they seem to like Wesley Clark, something that has always escaped me.

Names to watch right now--

Warner- red state Dem choice. Seen as a "moderate" (Liberal) Southern Governor

Bayh and Feingold- red or purple state going extreme liberal and hope geography covers the spread

Gore- He's what Kerry wants to be, died in the wool Leftist that the base loves now.

Wesley Clark-don't ask me why. Maybe it's the uniform, but the left seems to like him for reasons I can't understand. Unlikely candidate, but I'm putting him in the group because I don't understand the appeal, so can't dismiss it.

Clinton- main asset is nostalgia for the last days Dems contolled Washington. Triangulation is dead, though, so not front runner at this time.

Maybe Al Gore will cleverly pick a day when it's 20 below in New York to deliver his 'global warming' rant...If Orca the killer whale Ted stumps for him that'll be the ribbon on the package!
Al? Don't get caught inthe strainer as you go down the drain...Again.

"The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that the Dems will nominate Al Gore again."

There are three factions:

1. Kennedy - Kerry
2. Clinton - Media
3. Dean - Gore

This is going to be a dog fight. Meanwhile the best bet for the RATS to take the WH in 2008 rests with none of them. Each one is more radical Marxist than the next and it already has been shown that the lunatic fringe is the base.

So my bet would be if Warner/Richardson can get out of the gate, they would have the best chance of winning in 08. Against them I would put Allen/Coburn.

Now let them debate ideas and give us a Presidential race we can enjoy without the anger and lies.
