Just recieved a letter from a Col. in our department where I work that contained a picture of the cartoon recently run in the Washington Post (29th Jan 06). (http://members.cox.net/subtexel/wash.bmp) I thought you all would like to see the reponse the Joint Chiefs of staff wrote up to the Washington Post in regards to the 'cartoon'. (http://members.cox.net/subtexel/washpost.pdf). I can't believe the stooped this low! The response is set to run in tomorrows paper.
The mental illness of the left in this country knows no restraint.
Not Washington Times...Washington Post.
Oh, that guy's cartoons were always run in the Charlotte Observer. We canceled, I don't miss him.
Off with their heads. Oh wait, wrong thread.
Yeah, I know my bad... I stated Post later in the message, but for some reason I had times on my mind...
Pssstt.. Again, my appologies... Just recieved the letter @ work... Either way, its complete crap.
Bravo!

Reprehensible, but typical.
Tom Toles has had a anti-Bush / anti-US policy cartoon in the comPost almost every day. He has gone off the deep end. Unfortunately, as a cartoonist he is in a perfect position to do what the left wing does best, and that is to criticize and put down, without ever having to offer up a better suggestion or solution to anything.
Dear G-D, what could the comPost be thinking.
It's pretty sad when people agree thats it's reprehensible, but toss it off as typical.
Which is going to run tomorrow? The response OF the Joint Chiefs, or the Post's response TO the JC?
Apparently the JCOS letter to the editor. I work @ JFCOM and this letter was widely disseminated about 1/2 hour ago.. Already have a bunch of PO'd Military members because of this cartoon.
You're a Newbie. We'll cut you a little slack today...but tomorrow? You're on your own, LOL!
Thanks for posting this. Cartoonists like this are reprehensible. This is nearly as bad as Ted Rall disrespecting the mentally handicapped and (Hero) Pat Tillman.
Who finds this stuff funny? I'm always amazed at what sick, sick minds there are out there...and that they actually get paid to come up with this kind of stuff. No wonder the newspapers are going broke. Not a minute too soon, IMHO.
