Well, I was surprised to learn that a classmate of my son's actually brought his "prom" pictures to school. His date was another guy.

You might want to read this. It looks like they are in some parts of the country. And it looks like in some parts of the country when the kids get involved in gay and lesbian "clubs" they get special treatment.
