What the heck were Katie Couric and John Stewart doing in Iraq?

you know, the ones that set up the shots and get her bottled water and braids for her armpit and leg hair....
I heard her say it. Right then and there, she proved that she is, indeed, not a reporter in the truest sense. A reporter reports...he or she does not give opinions about what is going on. Never again will I believe that anything she says is unbiased.
I wonder how many of our soldiers will die because of her comments. She is encouraging the enemy....pure and simple.
Actually, I consider the entire Muslim world to be one big black hole.
Everything it touches gets sucked in and turns malignant.
When this gets mentioned, the libs really reveal their childishness. It's a fact, and everyone knows it. But when someone suggests that the terrorists get succor from the libs's comments on TV, the libs freak and accuse you of wanting censorship.
In other words, they simply sidestep the real world problem and get into a debate about the free press. (Kinda like how they sidestep the killing of fetuses and talk about women in bondage. Ignoring the number of female fetuses, but never mind...)
This issue is a perfect example of the adage (and book) "When Wish Becomes Fact". The libs don't WANT it to matter that the terrorists are getting plenty of intel from the lib wiretapping reports, Amanpour's comments, Durbin's Nazi comparison. But it DOES matter.
They behave like little kids who know that if they scream loud enough, mom will eventually give them the candy and TV just to get some peace. The issue of eating vegetables will be pushed aside.
The free press somehow came to believe that meant they had no responsibilities other than avoiding lawsuits from celebrities. And if you try to investigate their responsibility toward our collective security, they want to pout and pretend to be defenders of free speech, when all they're protecting is their right to be petulant a-holes who can feel all 60's rebel-like in denouncing The Man.

He's a horrible comedian who had a 2 minute part in a reefer movie and he's turned it into a career.....

Thats the first problem, the other problem is that there is no way for bias NOT to enter your "rational, objective" evaluations. It is impossible. We all know she is biased, and it is obvious what her biases are. Why should we believe her?
Who in the news media do you think is giving the most accurate picture of the situation there?
