CNN's top war correspondent Christiane Amanpour now says the Iraq war has been a disaster and has created a "black hole."

Wolf Blitzer immediately chimed in, 'it's soooo black.'

Amanpour gets worse and worse. The black hole is between her ears.

Amanpour Calls Iraq "Black Hole"

Amanpour is yet one more example of why our family does not watch CNN. I prefer reality to fiction when it comes to news. Their left-wing bias and distorted news reports at CNN is so extreme that they should advertise themselves the winners of the "MSM X-Games".

Either. You can imagine where my loyalties are, but I am interested in ANY kind of news source that someone on the ground considers an accurate presentation of the truth.

Who cares what she thinks, she is a "journalist" not a policy maker or anyone with true power.

well you can't go wrong with the Army news or the Marine new sites.

They always get the stories straight and accurate.

Forums like FR and some blogs out there are doing great as well.

as for the MSM, Fox News is by far the closest and most accurate, but sometimes that isn't saying much.

What do you expect from a pig but an oink. She is married to a former Clinton Under Secretary of State (Jamie Rubin). In a recent interview she said that she is all about using her CNN soapbox to effectuate social change. I smell Lib/Socio-Commie claptrap.

Thanks for the tip. I wonder how the recent incident will affect ABC News. Now that one of "their" people has been wounded and all.

Amanpour is married to Jamie Rubin, former State Dept Press Secretary under Albright and an adviser to Kerry during the 2004 campaign. Her pronouncements should be viewed in that light, i.e., pure political partisanship.

A few years ago she was reporting that Iran was in the process of reforming and advocating opening of diplomatic relations with them. I don't trust her political acumen one bit and view her has just another MSM slime toadying to the Dem line.

I didn't know that Amanpour is married to Rubin. The nicest thing I can say is that they are probably perfect for each other and probably have influenced each other's careers by sharing their version of the "news".

She and her husband are both shills for Islamofascist terrorist organizations. Rubin was the KLA conduit to the Clintons and actually bragged that he spoke with Hashim Thaci every day. Amanpour would routinely covery Serbian funerals as Muslim ones even though they use distinctly different headstones in their cemetaries. She's just carrying on business as usual.

I find it interesting that both she and hubby Rubin seem to suffer from "novocaine" tongue. They both speak as if their tongues are permanently swollen and numb. Just one of many things they have in common.
