I think that's the objective here. For two to three percent of the human population, homosexuals sure do demand a lot of attention. It's tiresome.
Problem is, they do keep working and working on these counter purposes, like cultists. Tiring of contending with these issues tends to make most of us turn away eventually and just ignore the strife, but the problem with that is it's encouraging to the strife, and so they scheme some more. This psychologist's intentions and plans are indicative of that: crazy man dislikes society, crazy man blames society for his suffering, crazy man studies how to retaliate against those who crazy man blames for his suffering, crazy man gains psychologist's license and goes about exacting his due from the society he has come to revile, labelling society "haters."
Thus, he's worked out that it's us, it's society, who is responsible that he's hateful. To wit, an anti-social personality, among other things.
