This is a letter from a newspaper editor in response to an invitation to appear on Bill's show.

Absolutely stunning... It's like we're dealing with a bunch of pre-pubescent boys...

But I think pre-pubescent boys would think that the sex offended should be punished harshly for what he did to that little girl.

I've only met one person from Vermont, and this is exactly that attitude
he had. A little school boy yelling through the fence, or in this case, through
his editorial. What a little "girlie boy" he sounds like.

Is this a High School paper? Somewhat juvenile, isn't it?

Yep. Throw mud. Insult. But never address the real problem with real solutions. Heck they don't even SEE the problem.

"Johnny! Did you wash your hands?"
"Ma! They ain't dirty!"

The rights of the little girl are of the utmost consequence, but cutting the sex organs off of the sex offender won't help her.

Typical liberal response, similar to their take on the death penalty ("Executing Tookie Williams won't bring his victims back!") It's a strawman argument. The little girl's rights are upheld when justice is done. No, cutting off his sex organs won't make her hymen intact, nor allow her to forget the horrible torment she had to endure. But, putting this animal away for a very long time is what the scales of justice require, both for the little girl, and for society as a whole.

The bottom line, from us to you, is this: We as a society can treat sexual predation like a symptom of a disease, and mitigate it with jail, voluntary castration, or what have you. This does nothing to alleviate the social problem. Or, we can see sexual predation as the disease itself, and make every attempt, as Judge Cashman did, to get to the source of the illness, thereby preventing the devastation of sexual assault in the future.

Oyvey.

The root cause of child molestation is the child molester. The recidivism rate among child molestors is exceptionally high. Moreover criminals are seldom caught the first time they commit such crimes.

If they dislike O'Reilly this intensely, they're gonna have exploding heads when they hear my opinion.

Hanging for prepubescent chld molestors on the first offense. That way there are no second offenses.

Damn! A third grader rant! Bill O'Reilly, for all of his bloviating, is spot on with this one. The intellectual midgets at this newspaper, would be eaten up and spit out by B.O. They, like most of the MSM, will never back up their rants with fact, only socialistic views.

Wow, this little gem completely reinforces my stereotype of liberal New Englanders, a sort of willful, superior, belligerent ignorance.

claiming that its the rights of the little girl

This was written by an editor who does not know that "its" should be "it's".

Left wing news always writes like this. You see if you don't agree with them they will try their usual distorted facts to prove you are the one who is wrong. The left will not protect
human rights, unless it comes from the ACLU and, we all know what they stand for.

I second that ... as much as I think O'Reilly is a windbag as well, he is right on with this one. This judge is out to lunch and this newspaper editor is simply an ignorant liberal with a captured left wing column to rant in.

Good catch, I was going to berate them on that but I wasn't sure if this was the illiterate moron's fault or some O'Reilly transcriber's.

I guess O'Reilly should correct it if it's their fault or else they should put [sic] after the error on their website.

It's more than absolutely stunning. The editor who wrote this article is every bit as depraved as the judge. I have to question are all Vermonters are psychopaths?
