it's a shame too, cause sirius' music programming is better than XM imho.

Stern is sinking Sirius. Who didn't see this from a mile away?

Just about everyone, except Sirius. They picked a "big name" hoping he would be their salvation. Kind of like the USFL paying Steve Young $30M and other huge salaries to some players to make a name for themselves. Sirius is the USFL of sattelite radio. I just hope XM doesn't pick him up after Sirius goes under. Then Howie would have to hang it up, go internet only, or slink back to AM/FM radio.

What Sirius is hoping for is that Stern's fans will wait a couple of months before they decide if they miss him. They weren't just expecting everybody to subscribe by the time he made his debut.
