Krajeck has 20 years experience with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the area of community and economic development, supportive housing and other programs for people with disabilities. She is certified by the National Development Council as an Economic Development Specialist. As a community activist, she participated in the building the Writers' Center of Indiana, Partners in Housing Development Corporation and the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention. She is the recipient of a Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis and the author of two chapbooks of poetry. Her work is focused on the impact of politics on day-to-day activities which occur in the space of one's home, neighborhood and imagination
