A Northwest Airlines flight attendant has been grounded and could face charges after security personnel reported finding a real but inactive hand grenade in her carry-on luggage at Milwaukee's airport.

The 39-year-old Cordova, Tenn., woman, whose name was not released, is expected to appear today in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

Apparently NW does not hire flight attendants based on brains.

With gift's like that, I'm glad I'm not on her Christmas List.

I just looked at our local paper online and it was the same article. However an interesting tidbit... Several years ago there were a number of men (of middle eastern decent)arrested in Cordova. They were involved in making fake ID"S. There was a woman working for the TN DPS helping this merry band of thugs and she was murdered (if memory serves me correctly) shortly before they all went on trial. In fact there have been several arrest made here over the last few years.
