Seton Hall prospects directed to 'hot girls'

Foreign students looking for help applying to Seton Hall University instead got an offer to talk to "hot, horny girls" thanks to a misprinted phone number in the Catholic university's admissions application.

Embarrassed Seton Hall officials said it appears two digits in the phone number were swapped on the undergraduate application.

"We did 973 instead of 937. As you can see, it's an easy mistake," said Thomas White, a Seton Hall spokesman.

Remember a joke where a kid goes into confession, said to the priest he had been messing around with girls, the priest said was it Coleen? no, the kid said, was it Marie? no the kid said, well say 5 hail Marys and sin no more. When the kid left his buddy asked if it was okay, the kid said yea, I got 5 hail Marys and 2 good leads.

Slightly OT: My wife and I had a wierd conversation with my kids last night. We were talking about slang through the years, and how the description of an attractive woman has changed. We noted that in the late 70's we used the term "fox", and in the 90's it was "babe" and today they use "hot" a lot. What I can't remember is what the term was in the 80's. Does anyone remember, or am I going to have to rent "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"?

I think "fox" lasted into the early to mid 80's, and "babe" I think took over after that... I don't remember anything in between.

In the early 70's it was "tuff" or "tough." At least in my small pond....

What I can't remember is what the term was in the 80's.

For me, it was "Will get restraining order" or "May not get restraining order."

Yeah, I remember "tough." And in some cases, "so tough." Now "tomato" was before my time, although it probably ought to be revived.

Hey in the 60" in California, if a girl was good looking she was "Bitchen" or "Cherry" niether was a negative reference. Just that they were good looking.
