If you are waiting for the anchor baby issue to be changed, you better bring a lunch.
That was just my point. Until the Anchor Baby aspect is addressed, guest-workers are a fraud and a delusion.

As for the mexican reforms, it is easy to see what hasn't been done and what has been done. We can even rank them. Which reform do you think is most important for Mexico?
Man, you really set up a buffet. Let's just start with controlling OUR borders and let the internal pressures, probably cal. 30, set their agenda.

Your bring a lunch advice is probably correct, as our current bunch of politicians, with a few exceptions, will do nothing more that yell, "Look! There's Elvis!" instead of taking any action. Even gunfire across our border doesn't move them, for Chrissakes.

When I mentioned reforms, I was talking about market reforms.

They have done wonders in transportation, financial services, and manufacturing. Telecommunications is lagging and oil/power generation reforms are almost non-existant.

Maxico has got a huge underground economy that has no equity value. No loan value-no blue sky. It is also untaxable.
