my only point is that hispanic americans, whether they be first generation legal immigrants from various countries, or 2nd (3rd, etc) generation american citizens born of immigrant parents - are generally very well assimilated americans (bi-lingualism concerns me, I will admit, but alot of that is a function of the public school systems not teaching english). can you say the same about european muslims? no way.

that said, its the illegals that are messing things up, and very badly at that. I think more naturalized american hispanics are seeing that, that's a consensus that the part of the republican party that is concerned about illegal immigration, needs to tap into.
